In order to implement the spirit of the 15^th Party Congress and the important instructions of Secretary Yuan Jiajun and Governor Wang Hao on the work of state-owned enterprises, Zhejiang Seaport and Zhejiang Mechanery and Electrical Group held a signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement on September 1^st to focus on the “one chess game, broader perspective” and “Synergy and integrated development” of state-owned enterprises, expand the unknown market space and seek common development opportunities.

Dong Guibo, Party Secretary and Director of Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Mao Jianhong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Zhejiang Seaport, and Xie Ping, Party Secretary and Chairman of Zhejiang Mechanery and Electrical Group delivered speeches respectively. In the speech, Dong Guibo said that the strategic cooperation between the Zhejiang Seaport and Zhejiang Mechanery and Electrical Group is not only a practical action for provincial state-owned enterprises to implement the spirit of the 15^th Congress of Party Representatives and the important instructions of Secretary Yuan Jiajun and provincial governor Wang Hao on the work of state-owned enterprises, but also a pragmatic measure for provincial state-owned enterprises to strengthen synergy and integrated development, shoulder the mission hand in hand and jointly play their strategic functions.

Dong Guibo hoped that both sides would bear in mind the “Top Priorities of the Country”, resolutely shoulder the responsibility of the mission of state-owned enterprises, and integrate their own reform and development into the overall situation of the province. Both sides should play a role in serving the “two pioneers”, be the main force in implementing major strategies, be pioneers in exploring ways for common prosperity, and be the key strength for steady progress and quality improvement, and resolutely ensure that abiding by the deployment of the Provincial Party Committee and the layout of state-owned assets, and taking actions. Both sides should take the initiative in the reform, carry out in-depth discussions on emancipating the mind, making plans for the future, innovating and changing important actions, identify the new growth poles that will lead the future, strive to form the first mover advantage in creating the original technology source of state-owned enterprises, vigorously promote the reform of state-owned enterprises and digital reform, and build a world-class enterprise. Both sides should set an example in deepening integrated development, establish an efficient cooperative work promotion mechanism, and carry out joint implementation of cooperation projects item by item. At the same time, both sides should continuously broaden the breadth and depth of cooperation, promote the coordinated development of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, and strive to become a model of coordinated development, integrated development and win-win cooperation of provincial state-owned enterprises, so as to continuously promote the state-owned enterprises in Zhejiang to become stronger, better and bigger.

Mao Jianhong said that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the sides is not only a positive response to the major strategic deployment of carbon emissions peak and carbon neutrality, but also a vivid practice of the concept of “clear waters and green mountains are as good as mountains of gold and silver”, which is of great significance for promoting the green and low-carbon transformation and development of the port and promoting the continuous innovation of the new energy equipment manufacturing industry. In the next step, both sides will work together to be pathfinders in the practice of “double carbon”, pioneers in innovation and development, and accompaniers of win-win cooperation, so as to empower and assist in building a “beautiful Zhejiang” and an “ecological civilization highland”.

Xie Ping said that the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation only opened the “prelude” of all-round deepening cooperation. At the meeting, Wang Zheng, member of Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Seaport, and Lou Guoqing, member of Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Mechanery and Electrical Group, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides. After the ceremony, both sides held discussions and exchanges on how to further promote the effectiveness of the implementation of the agreement.
